Our Commitment
Sustainability

Caring for our planet is important. We are determined to do our part.
1. We commit to using no floral foam .:.
Floral foam is a popular product used by the floral industry that serves as a water-holding base for floral arrangements. Floral foam is comparable to styrofoam and as such does not break down in landfills. Floral foam is not a recyclable or reusable product and therefore does not support our sustainability strategy.
This commitment pushes us to operate with innovation and creativity when it comes to our arrangement. And you can purchase from us knowing that we care about our planet and recognize that the little things can have a big impact.
2. We commit to using used and reusable products .:.
Our vase/vessels/containers are reusable and predominantly secondhand from local thrift stores. Growing Positivity is also committed to reusing or repurposing wrapping paper or any decorate product used in your floral bouquet or arrangement.
3. Ways to Preserve your Flowers .:.
Unfortunately, fresh flowers don't stay fresh forever. That doesn't mean they can't last forever. If you are interested in using your flowers beyond their initial life span, please consider pressing, preserving, or drying your florals.
To properly press your florals, carefully trim your floral to the desired length and press between the pages of a book under a heavy weight.
Some florals can be preserved. Please reach out if you are interested in learning more about this process.
For best results, dry your flowers by tying a string around the tip of your stem and hanging them in a dark dry place. In time, the florals will be dried and ready to be placed back in a vessel (without water) for prolonged enjoyment!
4. Composting trimmings and damaged Flowers .:.
